Buzzin' again!

On December 15 2009 our class had the third Buzz Session of the school year!
My partners were Alyanna and Sarah.
The topics we shared about the most were, book reviews, songs, novels and
movie reviews.
Alyanna did a novel on a book we both read, it is called ''The tail of Emily Windsnap" it is a really good book.
Sarah did a song called fireflies, I love that song!
It was a great Buzz Session, I had so much more to talk about because I had a lot moredc things in my portfolio this time!

Today in my buzz session Mariam, Edith and I had our buzz session in the green area. Mariam didn't have her portfolio so she couldn't tell me and Edith what she had in her portfolio, but Edith had her portfolio and she told me that she had two novels, two newspaper articles, two magazine articles, two book reviews, two poem and three song responses and two movie reviews.

MY THIRD BUZZ SESSION!!

Today, on Tuesday December 15 2009, we had another buzz session. Today, my partners were Aliyah and Birathan. We talked about our portfolios together and I went first. We talked in the red "X" section which is in the room. I talked about a new movie review that I just added on Friday ( I did a review on the movie called " imagine that". I took up a lot of the time sharing the rest of my portfolio as well. I think the next person to speak was Birathan. It was funny to know that for last month I had done a movie review on "Harry Potter and the philosopher's stone, while Birathan did a book review on that book in the harry potter series. Lastly, Aliyah shared her portfolio. It was very neat. She did everything in an orderly fashion, but I don't seem to recall what she said exactly because since I had taken up most of the time (sorry) I don't think she really got to finish talking.

My 2nd buzz session

Wednesday November 11th, 2009 unfortunately I was sick so I didn't come to school. I had a stomach cramp and it hurt a lot. I had to stay in bed for most of the day. I really wanted to do to school. I woke up at 12:00, had my breakfast and was feeling kind of lazy and tierd. My mom was at home with me because it was rememberance day and she didn't have any work. I kept thinking about school and what would be going on in school now and what my friends were doing.

My Second Buzz Session

On November 11 we had a Buzz session. I was in a group with Karen, Abarnaa and Mariam.We all talked a little about our portfolio's. Mariam had in her portfolio, 1 magazine article, 2 newspapers,1 poem and song her was very predictive. Abarnaa had about the same thing like Mariam , Karen had 1 poem, 3 songs, 2 newspaper articles and a title page and it was a good portfolio. In my portfolio was not as much stuff as the others but I have some things now 1 newspaper article, 1 song, 0 poems and that's it. I say this time my buzz session was better than the last one I had.

The Second Buzz Session of the Year!

On November 11 2009, our class had our second Buzz Session of the year.
We talked about portfolios!
My partners were Annie and Birhavi.
We mostly talked about the songs and novels in our portfolio.
We also talked about if we understood more about the idea of the portfolio since the last Buzz Session, we all did.
I enjoyed this buzz session more than the last one because, I had more things in it, so I had more to talk about. I'm really looking forward to the next Buzz Session, when I have more things in my portfolio.

For my second Buzz Session I was in a group with Pearl and Sarah. We were in the section purple, my favorite color. We talked about what is in our portfolio. Everyone had 4 things or more in there portfolio .So, we talked about it, Sarah talked about a article (Newspaper article). It was about Taylor Swift, wining a award and about her career. I think that the Buzz Session was fun and we could hear what other people opinions.

On November 11th we had a buzz session again.. In my second group I was with Methusan and Maxwell. We had our buzz in section "BROWN". We talked about our portfolios, Maxwell talked about his book review that he printed from the internet. His book review was boring me and Methusan asked him many questions about it, he didn't really know how to answer them. Then I discussed about my magazine article no one really commented or asked questions about it because it didn't really talk about anything. Then methusan told us a news article about sports or something it was really boring so I don't remember what he said.. In conclusion this buzz was somewhat enjoyable and a lot more productive then the last one, probably because we had more stuff in our portfolios.

My second buzz session

Today we did a buzz session in a teal station. I was partners with Zaria and Annie. I was the first speaker. I told them that I did 1 novel, 2 newspapers, 1 magazine, 2 book reviews, 1 movie review, 1 poem and 2 songs. I told them that I did the songs: by Brett Denen, There is so much more, and by the frays, How to save a life. I told them that one my poem is about :<<>>. Then Annie spoke. Annie said that she did the book Matilda. She did the song Halleluiah. She said that she did at least one of everything. Lastly, Zaria spoke. She said she did one of everything too.

My 2nd Buzz Session

Yesterday, Me, Aliyah and Renee had our buzz session in the hallway because all the area was taken . We talked about what we had in our portfolio. Aliyah has 1 novel, 2 poems, 1 newspaper article and 1 song I think. Renee has 5 newspaper articles, 1 song and 1 movie review. And I have 2 newspaper articles, 1 magazine article, 1 book review and 4 songs.

In my second buzz session, it was a bright and sunny morning I believe. My partners were Alisha and Edith. We spoke in the yellow area. We spoke about our portfolios. Mine was definitely not as good as theirs. Edith went first I think. She had a nice portfolio. Pretty impressive to me. Perhaps that's because there was everything there in an organised manner. She had a book review and a novel, magazines... you know the works. Then, Alisha went. She had a lot of things in her's too. Such as: book review, novel, magazine article, I think she even had a movie. Well in the end they both pretty much inspired me to fix up my portfolio for the better.

Yesterday we had a buzz session. It was strangely fun. When the period started I wanted to be with one of my friends that I was fairly close with, but I couldn't so Mr. G picked one for me. I was put in the red station. In there was Abarnaa, Mariam and Stefan. I sat down and listened. Mariam started first. She had lots of stuff in her portfolio. Every section was at least one thing. I think she did a good job. Then Abarnaa went. She had lots of stuff in her portfolio too. I noticed that her portfolio was very well organized. Everyone had so many things I just couldn't remember all of it. But one thing for sure was that I could tell they both put a lot of effort in their portfolio. After the 2 of them, I went. I have one thing for every section. For the section poems and songs I only have a song hopefully I will have a poem in soon. Stefan went after me. He had nothing in his portfolio. I hope he gets something in soon. I think this buzz session was better then the first because there was more things in every one's portfolio.

My Second Buzz Session

Today was the day of our second buzz session, and boy was it awsome! I'm not sure why, but I had fun. First, like always, we had to choose some partners. I couldn't be with Alisha, so I followed Mariam and Stefan into the red ''x'' area, I was really comfy and ready to talk. Mr.G brought in Karen to also be in our group. Mariam went first, and talked about what was in her portfolio, and there was a lot of info in it, in every section there was something. When she had finished, I asked her a question about her magazine article. Then it was my turn, I think I did a lot of effort and should get at least an ''A'', hopefully that is. I added a bunch of stuff to my portfolio, more than I had last time. Karen portfolio's was so creative, she really is a good artist.The only person who had nothing was Stefan, why am I not surprised? He didn't do anything!

In conclusion, this time the buzz session was so cool! Since we had more things, we got more ideas. Next time, when we get more articles, the buzz session will be even better.

Today in my second buzz session Aliyah, Priscilia and I had our buzz session in the hallway. We talked about what we had in our portfolio so far, Aliyah said she had one novel and two book reviews. Priscilia said she had two newspaper articles, one magazine article, one book review and four songs. I have five newspaper articles, one book review, one song and one movie review. I loved my buzz session today because I got to talk other people about my portfolio and what was in it.

Friday october 16ths buzz session

Today, we had our very first buzz session. We were in the green meeting spot. My group members were Pearl, and Birhavi. I shared that i had nothing in my portfolio, Pearl shared that she had a song in hers portfolio. And, Birhavi said that she also had a song in her portfolio. In conclusion, I was the only one that didn't have anything in my portfolio. My opinion was that the buzz session was okay.... In a way.

My first buzz session

Mariam, Aliyah, and I were buzzing at the brown "X" section Aliyah went first, she had 2 songs and 1 newspaper article. I went next, I had 3 songs and also 1 newspaper. Mariam went next, she had 1 song and 1 newspaper article. In the end, no one had any questions for anything/amyone. And I'm done........(dot dot dot)

My Buzz Session

Today in our buzz session in pink area. Karen ,Anchal and I ,all took turns talking about what should be in our portfolio so far?, we talked about what we don't understand about the portfolio and etc. Anchal and I didn't understand some points in our portfolio so Karen explained it to us. It was fun and interesting to listen to other people talking and asking questions because you can sometimes explain it to them. And if none of us know the answer to the questions we can always ask the teacher after the buzz session is over.
